blue-3 Celebrating 20 years Brief Established in 2004, blu-3 is an award-winning global infrastructure expert, sustainably connecting communities around the world. Specialising in civil engineering, utilities, construction and data centre projects, they deliver professional, high-quality and value-for-money solutions with an excellent track record. To celebrate their 20 years in operation, blu-3 reached out to Medicineman to discuss how they could create a bit of a wow factor at their annual conference. Along with a logo and presentation, we agreed on producing a video to bring to life their journey, which would be played on a cinema style screen at the event opening. Client: blue-3 Services: Storyboarding, Creative, Video, Animation As part of the brief, we not only wanted to highlight the key milestones, but include a more humanised feel throughout, making people feel more connected, proud to be a part of the company and excited for the future. Because of the nature of the work blu-3 do, one of our biggest challenges were the limited visual assets and how we could visually portray some aspects. We achieved this through combining photography with graphical animation to tell the story. The end result was a huge success and was very well received at the conference, as well as further afield when shared on LinkedIn.
